Get a couple of 1mm bb spacers and try it out.
Failing that, a custom Talbot could be the only sensible answer.

Can't believe nobody has suggested making a dimple in the chainstay with a vice:

I got one of these SS Arkoses and I'm finding the 175mm MTB cranks on it a bit uncomfortable. I need something shorter with as little Q factor as I can fit. What are the options? I think the EBB can only take 24mm spindles

Technically they aren't Omnoms
Doh! That should have been obvious from the use of 130mm PCD. Moving a Powerspline to the right is the same as moving a square taper/ISIS/Octalink cartridge BB- it works as long as there's room for the NDS crank to miss the other chainstay and enough thread the allow the NDS "cup" to thread further in than normal.

Finally two things coming to conclusion!
Flying gate has been single speeded as I was in a rush to finish for the tweed run tomorrow. Need to take the inner chainring off as it looks gash. Position dialled in etc. Plan going forward is to find a nice Campag group and build up some 27" wheels.
The giant just needs cabling, chaining and bar taping - new Campag super record 11sp with an older 5 arm record chainset as it looks nicer on the thinner tubing. Recently acquired a rear Zipp that I popped on, not sure whether I like it more than the purple hub wheelset though. Thoughts?

My current project from last night ☹️
Moral of the story- if your headset bolt isn't threaded right to the top, make sure your star-fangled nut is far enough down the steerer. RIP Atomic22 top

Well I finally bit the bullet and ordered a Surly Straggler, had the first ride out today and it was the most fun I've had on two wheels in a long time!
I went for an appropriate frame size this time round, since its intended to be a sensible off-roader/touring bike, however I can help but look at the lack of seatpost on show and think the bike is too big for me. Maybe its down to the fact I ride a road bike frame thats too small for me with a lot of post showing. Hopefully I get used to it.
I want to make the change to bar end shifters asap as I hate the exposed brake cables on the Tiagra shifters, Will SRAM work with my Shimano rear derailleur?
I've also ordered an inline post to get me sitting a bit further forward, hopefully I can snag a 'Pizza rack' at some point too.
Technically they aren't Omnoms... they are the cheaper S100 1.1 cranks, and a power spline bottom bracket. I'm not even sure how possible it is to space out the power spline BB, but I'll have a look this evening.
Custom dished chainring makes obvious sense on a bike that has so far cost a grand total of £140 including the cost of a couple of tools I was missing! :-)
