New crabon bars on = new tape (never buying Deda again) and got sick of waiting for purchased tools to arrive so ended up getting bike shop to switch spider, which was only £20 in the end. Got a wedding up north this weekend and have sneakily hired a van to spirit myself away for a ride at some point to evaluate the new bars and gearing...
