  • weight?

    No idea, but its light.

    The wheels are 20/24 Kinlin XC279 on Novate SL, latex tubes, corsa G etc. Grouppo is mix of Red and Force; OG Red silver brakes (will be replaced by 5800 for clearance). China carbon post, some generic FSA stem, zipp bars, King Ti cages, KMC chain, 6800 cassette. Cranks will be Turn Zyanate; my LBS didnt have the tool to install the conversion BB so just waiting on that.

  • How are you finding the Corsa G

  • Fucking amazing! @pastry_bot took me on some gravel roads yesterday and I surprisingly stayed upright without puncturing on a 25mm tyre.

  • Nice. I've had the 28 one's through quite a bit of sand this weekend, not great, but pretty good considering how far outside of design parameters they were (and nothing to complain about)

  • That looks boss Amey. Slam that stem tho...

    What size is the frame?

  • 54cm .. I've had 52 in past .. like really distant past (2011). 54 suits better, there is one mm diff in reach between 52 and 54!

    Slam not happening on this one, I want a bit pf long ride comfort out of this. Doing great escape audax this Sunday. Emonda is slammed with a proper 130mm stem.

    I must say, I am loving sram. Hood shape and downshift especially .. so snappy! YAW front mech shifts really good too. Lets see how good the front shift stays with praxis rings and cranks. Its so weird that SRAM doesent mention use of barrel adjuster for front mech, without it its impossible to set up properly by just pulling the cable ..

  • Fair enough! Thanks!

    SRAM is boss af, and I've always set up my FD without a barrle adjuster and it's always been fine!

  • dat rear mech cable length

    nice though

  • This.

    TBF, it's nearly always useful to have an adjuster for the rear derailleur.

  • also a more general lol at Amey's parts-bin build being nicer than 2/3rds of the bikes on here

  • Evans have got me in a 50cm CAAD 12 a long with the 52 they already had I'll be trying tomorrow B2B, they guy seemed pretty insistent I was more of a 52 but that could be because they already had it in store..

    But we'll soon see I guess

  • Nice. Needs discs tho...

  • Nice.

    On the same theme .. the press reviews were:

    @Dick "Nice. Needs 53/39 Spiderring SiSl2"

    @edscoble "Nice. Needs 48mm tyres"

    @hippy "Nice. Needs Shimano"

    @MechaMorgan "Nice. Needs SlamThatStem®"

  • Not forgetting

    @MechaMorgan "That looks boss Amey. Slam that stem tho..."

    You must be new here.

  • Does it barskid?

  • Awesome as all these forum dales are looking, I just wish Cannondale would reintroduce some rad colour schemes :-(

    #livinginthepast

  • "Black is timeless"

  • Got some loaner compact drops, 40cm wide for the aerogainz and most importantly they aren't as fugly as ergo type bars. Sorry for crappy phone quality photo.

  • Hardly any diff between 52 and 50.

  • WHAT THE FUCK BRO

    SRAM RED?
    SRAM FORCE?
    ULTEGRA CRANKS?

    No DA9000 AT ALL.
    Fucking sellout.

  • No, there is a noticeable difference between the 50cm and 52cm CAAD12.

  • It's just numbers, put in by 'the man' to make us, like, conform dude.

  • Would someone be able to create a Vector of "CAAD" in the old Klein font?
