Anyone seen these cosine wheels from wiggle? Rrp of £180 for a set of wheels weighing in at 1610g.
23mm deep and 24mm wide is perfect. Can't decide if they are too cheap though? Seem very light for the price. -

I think they were mentioned in the wheel thread, and the consensus was too light / cheap. But don't think anyone had actually seen a pair in the flesh

Yeah. That was my initial reaction but hard to tell.
Edit: the reviews on wiggle are all pretty good but there's only 7.

The Spanish cycling federation have followed suit, they also seem to be banning them from domestic competition as well.

Yep, I'm fucked, no amateur organized events with federation referees will accept me with my disc brakes... Well in my home (Asturias) they said that they will allow them... but not sure if the central federation will allow that, and I'm living in Madrid.
So... fuck them! fuck their rules and regulations! I'll stick with Brevets and Super Randonnées for now on. They're puppets for the insurance companies

Ventoso full of shit then.

Moving forward, other changes are also being evaluated, such as round outer rotor profiles without saw-like cutouts or notches, and protective rotor covers.
They'd love mine then.

Might wanna learn from bike polo then, there are plenty of made for purpose ones but a DIY sauce pan hack works fine too!

Ventoso didn't even knew what cut him, just that he bumped into someones bike... but raged anyway, and got us two weeks of doubts and nerves, personally I abandoned two events that where in my calendar... I'm gonna spit on him next time he races near Madrid.
Spanish national cycling federation now allows disc again on amateur rides... for me they are even worst than Ventoso
