  • So, been sorting out some stuff on my recently acquired caad12. Internal cabling.. ffs.. Would've been hell a lot easier if I had the tools to remove the cranks/BB. I had to fish out the cables which took me at least close to 2 hours to get done..

Been playing with stems, slammed, spacers, etc... Just wondering, what do you call those bearing covers that lets you slam the stem? ~I have it slammed at the moment and it felt ok, just dont want to run the stem on top of the bearings without a cover. The cone spacer is huge and kinda want to get rid of it.

Was about to get some nice wide tyres but condor only have that vittoria graphene 28c one. Might get some online instead.

  • Trek are piss easy, some like Boardman actually have internal sleeve for the brake cables.

Older Cannondale internal are awful (like the disc Synapse and CAAD10), but the newer CAAD12 is a little better.

2016 SuperSix Hi-mod is a step in the right direction (mostly external).

  • Seemslike you're right. Tried my neighbours 30c and it was rubbing on the brake metal thing.
Seems like 28c is the max red 22 brakes can take. Time to go back to shimano Di2 me thinks. As much as I love sram double tap, recabling is always a fucking shit of piss on it. Why would Sram make it so difficult to route cables back in...

Caad12 cabling, took me a couple of hours to get the internal done. I dont have the tools to get the bottom bracket off so I had to fish it out of this narrow hole.
