what do you call those bearing covers that lets you slam the stem?

How bad is the internal routing? I find that more modern the frame, easier it is. Its really easy on my Emonda.
I'd check tyre clearance with brakes. Red brakes are notorious for not being able to accommodate larger tyres.
So, been sorting out some stuff on my recently acquired caad12. Internal cabling.. ffs.. Would've been hell a lot easier if I had the tools to remove the cranks/BB. I had to fish out the cables which took me at least close to 2 hours to get done..
Been playing with stems, slammed, spacers, etc... Just wondering, what do you call those bearing covers that lets you slam the stem? ~I have it slammed at the moment and it felt ok, just dont want to run the stem on top of the bearings without a cover. The cone spacer is huge and kinda want to get rid of it.
Was about to get some nice wide tyres but condor only have that vittoria graphene 28c one. Might get some online instead.
