Emery board (g/f or wife's nail file, not the metal kind). Works a treat and is not messy... like toothpaste.

Enduras look decent and you can make your own mind up about polarising lenses as they are included. Those POCs look like you've escaped from TRON in a bad way.
-
• #530
Yes. Has been said before.
-
• #531
I'm enjoying my fake POCs, they're comfortable, lenses seem good and they make me look completely ridiculous. Of course lycra, a big polystyrene helmet and white shoes probably don't help much on that front.

I'd buy a pair of Uvex Sportstyle 202 Vario Glasses
They are excellent value.

Uvex Sportstyle 202 Vario
Kudos to Chainreaction for offering a solid discount. But IMO the more plasticky details there are on a pair of glasses the more geeky they look.
Some truly horrible examples:

Have you compared them to a real pair of poc glasses? At that price I'm very tempted but not sure quite how much of false economy fake sunglasses are...?
-
• #535
I'm actually thinking about buying some Oakleys as most of the other riding sunglasses I see aren't really what I'm looking for... ie I think they're gash. Any recommendations though would be nice.. ones that don't make you look like a complete cunt please!!!

Much the same as you. Swore I wouldn't get a pair of Oakleys due to the price, but now considering the Jawbreakers with Photocromic lenses
-
• #537
I really like the general shape of the Jawbreakers, but when I saw how shiny/plastic-y they are in real life...I knew then, it wasn't meant to be.

not wanting to gatecrash or spam, but @Johnnyw and @Ste_S, I have a new and unworn pair of Jawbones, won in a competition two/three years ago, have dark tinted lenses and some super iridescent yellow ones as well... Carry pouch, but no box.
I'm never going to wear them as getting prescription lenses put in costs a fortune.
Yours for a £100 ono..

Would the yellow be the iridium?
-
• #540
Nope, not got the real thing to compare to, but I can't really find much wrong with them for £13.
-
• #541
have no idea, they could be, they are still in the foamish plastic sleeves they came in.
interested? -

I have a weakness for this colour lense:

Yeah, there's the price, however my Radars are on their 6th year of heavy use (running and cycling) and the lenses (and frames) look like new.
-
• #544
Yep they look like that, haven't taken them out of the plastic sleeve to have a look but that looks similar..
-
• #545
What colour are the frames?
-
• #546
black
-
• #547
I'd love to say yes and take them off ya hands @cornelius_blackfoot but the jawbreakers are a tad too big on me... I'm looking at Radar EVs... so if anyone's got a pair of these for sale... let me know!

No worries..

Ha ha.
True dat, I live in London.
Caveat emptor, unless you actually experience this road glare phenomenon, or fish, save your quids. IMO obvs.
