I haven't, MoneyDashboard is the online service that connects to your bank/creditcard/etc accounts and draws all the transactions into one place. From one website, I can see what all the balances are. It also categorises (some auto) and does other stuff I haven't used. It will not perform transactions or move money, but imports your transactions.
Moneydance will be the more intelligent offline software I am about to use at home (I switched from Banktree as Moneydance seems better to use these days and Banktree was a bit clunky, haven't used it for a couple of years). So now, I categorise things in Dashboard (can do so anywhere online), and then download for importing to Moneydance where I hope to be able to properly reconcile stuff like refunds. eg. at present if you spend £100 on toys, then get a refund of £80, the software tots up that you have spent £100 on toys, and the refund is swallowed into 'income'. Also for budgeting, etc, etc.
@Aroogah and @LongAndWinding yep. WHERE DID MY MONEY GO?
is what I'm after.
why the switch to moneydance from money dashboard?
