Won't it be weird when you've got those things and the wall/room is "finished" though? Like, it's kind of fixed/static.
I used to covet beautiful wallpaper, I thought one day I'll have a feature wall... Turns out I not only have stupid amounts of stuff that make a clear wall and carefully chosen pieces somewhat unlikely, but that upon acquiring a house I've got much more into nice paint colours and I'm no longer really fussed by fancy paper.I still want to make a ludicrous statement ceiling fixture/light fitting though, and I have an old wheel I've been saving just for it...
Things I still need to find:
Wall mirror
Floor lamp(to take cylinder/drum shade.
Clock
Coffee table
One or two misc small pieces - glassware, tray, wall art etc
All at the atomic end of mid century design.
