  • What do you think?

  • Thats the slackest thing I ever did see.

  • (not sure if SRS, but if so, is an error caused by the digital scanning nature of a CCD in a digital camera)

  • This is my favourite sensor meltdown.

  • Ha that's amazing

  • whoa, source?

  • looks like it is from here :)

  • Hey guys, just a quick question, if both bike fits, same price point, paint on both is OK, which would you choose? Caad12 or supersix evo? One is carbon and one is aluminium, the price has a £200 difference in between. I'm just wondering why some people would choose the caad 12 instead of the carbon one even though they have the same geometry.

  • because £200, potentially the paintjob and clearance for bigger tyres depending on the model

  • Old evo is different from CAAD12 so they're not the same.

  • There's a 2016 supersix evo outnow though. Just wanted to know people's opinion about the two frames as I might be able to get a 2016 supersix evo for the same price as a caad12. I checked the tyre clearance and apparently, the new evo's can take 28c tyres as they come with 25c as default. Tried a caad12 disc a couple of days ago, there's just something I didnt like about discs. Only had it for 10 minutes though, might change if evans allowed me to try it longer. If going caad12, I'll be going rim.

  • if you've caught the weenie bug, go carbon. Avoid disc.

  • Supersix evo is the same as the 2015, it's not the newer SuperSix Evo Hi mod that share identical geometry to the CAAD12.

IMO, CAAD12, especially the larger clearance, and most especially get the disc version, it may not feel.as direct or obvious as the rims brakes version, but it a lots better for all conditions and maintenance.

  • Ahh sneaky cannondale. so supersix evo 2016 is pretty much the old 2015.

@amey still debating the trek and this. Guru sounds really nice at the moment though

  • no worries, take your time, just let me know which way you decide to go :)

  • @svendhöek Generation ship weekly criteriums on retro 2016 Caad 12's

  • CSG apparently have "my" CAAD12 frame, but due to their new computer system being, apparently, total shit, can't ship it - and have not been able to ship it for two weeks now, with no sign of this situation changing.

Where else could I get one from?

  • euuughhhhhhh

Travel down to theirs and get it.

Fuck me they are twits these days

  • Bike24 have them for delivery on the 24th of May. Anyone able to find one for delivery sooner?

  • one of the biggest reasons I went for caad12 disc, is that I can buy whatever rims I want without having to worry about wearing them down.

I'd hate the idea of grinding down an expensive rim.

  • few years and we might see disc only road rims go below 300g and novatec produce even lighter road disc hubs for the average ebay buyer.

  • @Dammit westbrook cycles has them and says will deliver within 48hours
use tdy as a code to get 15% off. Quite a chunky discount there

  • My sentiment exactly, especially once they started making proper zero wheels by actually getting rid of the brakes track to give a better profile with the tyres.

Most especially the tru-axles doing away with the quick release axles and use a large alu axles.

The alu axles on my Saracen is already pretty light.
