  • Blake was going to send me out a few sizes. But only got small in end. Easy to deal with and friendly.

The sizing runs true to their measurements online, so measure yourself and get the one that is those measurements.

If it's any help I fit into a small easily.

  • Chammois are easy to replace, I often replace mine.

The pad in the trip suit looks good tho tbh.

  • actually one final final question does the trip suit include a number pocket thing or is that additional?

  • Chammois are easy to replace, I often replace mine.

DIY or send them somewhere? I've a pair of shorts I'd like to replace the pad in but couldn't source a pad last time I looked.

  • I just get the gf to do them.

Yeah sourcing a pad is hard. I have lots of shorts that have been ripped in crashed etc, so just come from them.

  • Ta. I'll have to see where i buried my sewing machine, can't make them any less comfortable than they are now.

  • Did the Cambridge CC 10 on the F2D/10 this afternoon. The weather went mad as I was warming up (cycling aimlessly before my start time).

Bit of rain and the wind really picked up. Despite that, I took a second off my PB so happy with the ride.

Really flat course with good road surface, think It would be pretty fast on a calm day.

  • This might be of interest to someone

  • See you next saturday @hippy
Bring your good legs, conditions are looking ok. http://www.bbc.co.uk/weather/2641616/extended

  • Yarp.

It's pre-Exa Drive 8 speed, so no pins or ramps.

  • Ah bums, just bought one on eBay. I'll bear your collection in mind though if I decide to go bigger than 105"...

  • Interested in the 55t... let me do some checking.

  • What you got in 130BCD @Scilly.Suffolk ?

  • Oops... I misread the post. I want 130BCD too!

  • 1/8 or 3/32? I haz 55 & 56 in 130-1/8"

  • A 56t 3/32" Gebhardt GTP.

Only used once before I bagged a Fibrelyte.

  • @hippy did you do it today?

  • Lea Valley CC 10 on the e2/10?

  • Next Sat I'm down to race a 10? Is that what you're talking about?

I don't 'race' 10s I just hang on. :P I'm trying to see if I can get 2016 PB since I threw my chain on the H10/22. Even better would be club record but I don't think the course is fast enough for that - I need a minute off my PB.

  • Nah, weather was shithouse and I had some err RAB issues. Oh and I thought I was being attacked on the descent by a steam engine, turned out to be my valve cover tape had come off and was whacking the frame. Freaked me the fuck out. Stupid bike. If I went back there with it dry and the wind in the other direction I reckon I'd be on for it. I was 31.?mph before the turn and then it's uphill and into a cross head wind. Meh.

  • Just checked. Power was down too, not by much, but enough.
Not surprising though. 29hr rides aren't really conducive to building 25mi power.

  • I managed to sneak under 56 which I was happy with, 55:47 on my Garmin: road bike no aerobars or aero helmet! Took the fixed gear TT bike out the car, it started raining so I put it back in again, the bank was still pretty hairy on my road bike.
