• @hippy you still want to avoid the framebag option?

Yesterday did the 300km Brevet in 10h with 3375m+ (11.000 feet) with the Inuvik custom made framebag and fuelpod. Absolutely got no problem with rubbing legs or bag movement... It's 4cm wide so it doesn't stick much on the sides of Kinesis top tube. Also plenty of storage space if you do the "tetris" right

    • Two 28c inner tubes, thermal blanket and emergency pills (vomits, diarrhea, etc..)
    • Multitool, tire levers, patches, vinyl gloves, zip ties...
    • Two bananas, 8 cheese&ham bars, 10 prunes
    • 5inch phone, money, cards...
    • Dry buff, gloves, battery pack...

  • Impressive time

  • "custom made" = time, faff

Even at 4cm, I'm not sure if my knees will clear it and then there's the issue with bottles - side-mount cages? But mostly it's about things touching my knees. I'd have to check.

I worked out why the TT bike is better with a top-tube back vs. the Kinesis - it has a much lower top-tube so my knees aren't near the bag when I'm out of the saddle.

    What size frame is yours?

  • What's the little clear patch for on the NDS?

  • bertocq's dog approves, or perhaps bertocq's dog does not approve- classic!
