Slight setback in the clearout process: I bought another frame... But everyone needs a commuter, and having parts hanging on a bike is better than in boxes.
Traded the surplus 32h rim for an inline 26,8 post and found a X7/X4 shifter/trigger combo in a box.
I've ordered a cheap narrow wide chainring on eBay, which is the last, missing part. The wheels are going to be a pair of WH-R501s with Schwalbe Marathons. I have to figure out if I'm going to mount the basket struts on the fender eyelets, which will require some sort of spacers or mount them on the axle, which will be annoying if/when I need to remove the wheels...
