  • Go for the 42mm version, big supple tyres are fucking amazing.

    Having said that I can understand the price being quite high, why not go for the Marathon Supreme in 40mm? 490g (HD Speed Guard version) isn't bad for a slightly tougher tyres that felt better than the Pasela, unless you wanna go for that gumwall look.

    The Supreme is the best touring tyres you can get for the money, light, supple, smooth and have that Marathon blue gel insert.

  • Marathon and supple aren't two words I'd normally expect to see together, are you sure?

    I would prefer gumwalls, but i'll make an exception if they are actually good.

  • Supreme are supple. Also G-One come in 40c.

  • Because it's not the Plus, it's basically a large slick tyres with a bit of the blue Marathon gel in it.

    Look at the weight dude;

    Marathon Plus 38mm - 960g
    Marathon Supreme 40mm - 490g.

    I'm always gonna wax lyrical about Grand Bois/Compass tyres but I do recognised that not everyone would want to get them.
