Haha, you have until August, go!!

Always wanted this frame, like it a lot!
Glad seeing it being build up again. -

Everyone deserves a Sunday Best.
Looking forward to seeing this build. What else do you need?
-
• #30
I am sorting some stuff out with a mate who is also going to help with the actual building. I will need to find a nice silver chain ring though to go with my DA 7600 cranks.
I am also unsure about which seatpost I want to go for, I want inline not layback.
Saddle is still up in the air but the NJS options aren't really suitable because they don't agree with my arse basically, haha.

• #31
by silver do you mean black chainring?
-
• #32
I'm normally down with the component #allblackerrrthang life but this time it's different, I'm going silver.
-
• #33
I've got a 48t Condor track ring floating around somewhere if you like?
-
• #34
It is 48t I want, I have a 15t DA cog so it'll give a good track ratio. What does it look like? (Because I'm being a tart!).
-
• #35
Don't settle nothing but DA! YOU HEAR ME NOTHIN BUT DA!!! ;)
-
• #36
It's brand new and unused.
-
• #37
is there anything black (apart from the NLTCBMBC sticker obv)? Seatpost, stem, bars?
If not silver cranks and black chainring will look good IMO.
-
• #38
All components will be silver. Paint scheme is a secret.
-
• #39
144 BCD means chainrings could be changed quite easily though, I could have either black or silver depending on what I fancy.
-
• #40
Ah didnt know you are painting it! Looking forward :)
-
• #41
I always worry when folks intend to repaint an already amazing looking frame as it often goes from looking as great as this Neil does right now to some dull, boring, powder coated single colour and looking like a million other bland ficksies.
Make it good!

• #42
I do hope you're going to use Ali at Fatcreations for some custom paint goodness...
-
• #43
It's going to cole coatings (https://www.instagram.com/colecoatingsworkshop/) It's going to be good.
Fatcreations are also amazing though, your Porklyn is proper.
@FujiRacer Have no fear, this frame is not getting puppy killed.
-
• #44
Oooh exciting!
-
• #45
How will it be painted?
This is gonna be noice.
-
• #46
Er:
Paint scheme is a secret.
-
• #47
Shhhh ;)
-
• #48
Ahh
-
• #49
Why repaint? :(
-
• #50
The frame is from about 1988 and the paint is very very ratty with a good amount of rust spots and the threading on the steerer also needs some attention.
It's not getting a shitty rattle-can or a crap flat one colour powdercoat, it's getting a proper strip and repaint.
It'll look ace, I promise.
Perfect in my eyes! Hopefully I'll be back to the track too before this build is completed.
