what are people tracking with ? I think I have major portion control problems here in the US. Standard size is probably 2 (or 3) normal meals

Myfitnesspal is the standard.

Doing it wrong

I've been doing terribly lately, daily snacking. I've been creating excuses for not managing the changes in the past and falling into old, ridiculous snacking ways, and having thought about it, realised that I just don't want it enough, and I want that to change. Motivation lapses stop now!

cutting carbs out of your diet is so boring. day 2/14

Why 14 days, what are you following? I reckon you can power through it though, just be prepared with your meals in advance. I find it a lot easier when I know what I'm eating for the next 3 days.

i'm not concerned about "carb intolerance" and generally put maffetone in the same boat as the atkins and other fad dieters but doing this before christmas I found it gave me more energy and helped me cut the cord on gorging myself on carbs every meal and complete cut out my sugar intake.
I think it's a good way to kick start my weight loss again (lost about 7kg in 6 weeks last time)

Lost 6kg for the marathon, want to lose another 10kg by September for the next marathon (which just happens to be after a little swim and a bike ride).
How I felt running the marathon should spur me on to stop snacking and focus on getting rid of the weight.

Much weight loss required.

My weight chart shows possibly a very slight downward slope from 78.5 - 78.0,
A big step Down to 76.5
Possibly a very slight downward slope from 76.5 - 76.0.
The step was a stomache bug that prevented eating for 24 hours, yet I still took the kids skiing. I'm just happy I managed to stabilise the loss.

Got the shits so bad that I became lactose intolerant. Was down to climbers weight in no time. I was fast as fuck, I just had to keep an eye out for a toilet. Would kind of recommend.

inspired by mr Tibbshinigamiamhingis i think i'm going to stick my weight log in here now. using the gym scales as they tend to be more accurate than my fitbit ones at home
19/04 - 103.1kg
ideally would like to hit 92kg by september as my base goal for running berlin marathon in sub 3h30.

Boast-post alert*
Just had jeans delivered that I had ordered to future-proof my wardrobe and inspire me to lose a bit more as well. Turns out they already fit.
*Have to caveat this with the fact I have abnormally thin legs for a man my size.

You'd be a couple of grams lighter if you swept the pubes off your scales once in a while.

I was 75.8kg this morning. Which is just 200g under my average for the last month. So loss, such amaze.
Still, seeing the 75 on my scales a few days in a row makes me think <75kg is a weight I can easily substain while training (and thus fueling) kinda hard.
I have a somewhat unambitous W/Kg FTP target of 4 for 2016. Currently need 10w and 800g.
Hoping both will fall into Place when it stops fucking snowing and I can get outside properly.

today I learned doing barbell squats is a great motivator for realising you need to do something about your beer belly as it squashes between your knees.

i dunno about breath, but i did have a funny taste in my mouth for a few days, but it then passed which i think is the general process.
biggest tip for keto when starting out - you need to pay attention to your electrolytes. almost definitely not getting enough, which can make you feel a bit flu-ey.

A nice chap approached me as I was sat on a bench after a run. We had a good chat and I ended up paying him £10 for some packets of powder and a few pills to take with water.
Has anyone had any success with Herbalife? I'm starting a trial from tomorrow.
yes but also I was over eating with my regular meals - knowing each of my Huel meals is 467 calories, but is also nutrionally complete is the key
