Cheers all for the advice - Came back with some indigo's from Full Count, Evisu, Studio D'Artisan, a black pair from Momotaro, and a funky blue on blue pair from PBJ. Such great shopping over there - every shop made me try to convince myself the dream of double-denim being socially acceptable again...

For jeans...
Pure Blue Japan (5 mins away from teh main action)

Also check out Warehouse (if you're under 6ft or so) here

Blacows is ace for burgers, Tsukiji fish market for breakfast/brunch sushi.

One thing I did find a pain, was out of date internet recommendations! Kissed a few frogs chasing stores that had since left the space - the above were all visited by me in person and so were there as of last weekend!
WIll update this post with any edits, though if you have endless time and feel the need, also have a google for Evisu, Samurai, Studio D'Artsan for any Tokyo stores - I didn't as I filled my boots in Osaka with those brands, though if a shop stores any of the brands mentioned, they should have other good bits in or be in an interesting area...

Just put Hiuts in for their first wash - after 18 months. Mainly because I'm probably going to sell, have a slimmer pair that fit much better for me.
They're a 31x34 'Hack@'
http://hiutdenim.co.uk/products/selvedge-denim-hacks-2014
I can obviously give pics after they've dried, but thought I'd see if there's any interest in them before they get put on ebay - Rough guess - £100? But I've never sold selvedge before so open to offers. Sorry if #spam.

Could be interested. What's the actual measurements once washed and worn, ie stretched?
-
• #2358
@kboy Just measured them whilst still drying and they come in at 32x34 dead on, this is obviously pre wearing after washing.
For reference my unwashed 31 waists in slimmer fit, so presumably stretched are actually 33 1/4"... Hadn't measured these until now, surprised at that.
Let me know if you want any other measurements.

I've just seen the photo of Pisti's jeans, looks like they were custom made for the Krankies...

Photos for previously mentioned Hiuts are here @kboy and anyone else who might be interested.

Interested but would need to try them on or else find a way of measuring thighs.
See up thread for explanation.

Not sure how detailed sizing you need, but have added some pics with measurements on, might help with comparison against anything you already own?
There's also this: http://hiutdenim.co.uk/pages/fit-guide
These are 'Slim' Hacka fit - I'm not sure I'd describe them as slim, but I guess its all relative.

Hi, many thanks for adding those measures. I've compared against the Edwins that I am currently wearing and mine are at least an inch wider at the groin / thigh, so I don't think the huits will work for me. Shame; they look lovely.
GLWS.

You wore some jeans for 18 months and now you're selling them for £100
What am I missing? This is fucking bonkers.
-
• #2366
The £230 purchase price.
If you factor the time and effort spent to achieve the sick fadz you're basically getting the jeans for free.
-
• #2367
Did you wear them for the full on 18 months? Most I've gone was 6 and that was after much Mr Black Denim Refresh. Be nice to see those fades when they're dry
-
• #2368
I'm with the Bear on this - seems fucking spenny for some well used jeans.
Sure they're nice denim but seems nuts to think of spending that on 2nd hand

• #2369
Especially when you can get LEVI'S for <£20 at sports direct.
-
• #2370
This.
-
• #2371
Also consider that I was selling some brand new/unworn Gustins for £70 and there weren't any takers...
I don't want to piss on any bonfires here, but £100 for someone else nut sweat? No thanks.
-
• #2372
Indeed. Tis madness IMO too.

• #2374
That's nuts, literally.
Forking out £100 to wear someone's scrotem shvitz rags that haven't been washed for a year is beyond parody.
-
• #2375
Plenty of overreaction here. I've no idea if the price is right, but the concept of buying secondhand jeans is not in the least novel. And they have been washed, as you can see in the pics.
In other news, I found a pair of Edwin Red Selvege ED39s for £70 (new), just awaiting delivery from Liquorstore.com.
