  • I hope she finds a great deal on an iPhone 5s 6gb 24 month contract and really enjoys using it and then Apple release the new iOS 10 which she immediately upgrades to and then finds, increasingly, that her phone is slower and slower and that the interface, while offering new features, has such declining performance that her iPhone becomes more of a source of irritation than ease even though it still generally works, and is in principle great, but still far more frustrating than it should be considering how much she'd like to use it. And it's basically brand new but it's like this is phone experience for around 22 more months.

  • Haha no but it happens to anyone who thinks they can get their money's worth from a 650 billion dollar company that spends probably half its time Imagineering around the phrase 'planned obsolescence'. Never upgrade to the new iOS people, it's a ruse.
