Seriously though, there was a small arcade called Latin Quarter on Brixton Road, just as you get to the Oval on the left hand side (as you head north). No idea if it's still there, and no idea if they'd do your nails if they are.

I was in Brixton on Fri night. It reminded me of Nottingham or one of those small regional uni town type places. I had to go all the way to Peckham before someone tried to sell me drugs.
