I've used Simply Removals a couple of times now and they've been fantastic each time. The packing service is amazing.
Maybe we just got lucky.

Or we got the idiots and most crews are ok.
Came to pack, no wardrobe boxes, only a few large boxes so tried to charge full whack for lots of light small boxes when they should have used a few larger boxes which would still have been c. 5kg a box.
On moving day, no trolley for the boxes so they had to carry all the small light boxes, took ages, many fag breaks were had. Wanted to charge extra (to be paid in cash before unloading the van) because it took an hour and a half longer than the standard job time. Highgate to Chingford, no traffic delays, no waiting for keys, extra time was entirely down to the removers making more of a job out of it than was necessary. Ended up on the phone to a manager who seemed to bollock them a bit after I explained the boxes, trolley and fag break situation, also that I had ended up shifting the boxes myself to try and get them to go at a bit more than snails pace. They then unloaded the van without demanding the cash.
Would not use again, but willing to accept we got the idiots that even good companies sometimes seem to employ.
