• The mtb ones are fine, my first go on the roady douchebag versions has left me less than impressed, and I'm far from a disc brake virgin. Noisy and I don't think even compressionless super housing will help.

    TBF, certain brake levers doesn't help, like the old 105 levers, the recent levers (4700, 5800, 6800 etc.) work a lots better with single sided disc, some singlespeed levers such as the Cane Creek SCR-5 work brilliantly.

    Oddly enough, BB7 and 4600 levers work well with normal housing.
