if you dont mind shipping to sweden...
If you don't mind paying for it...
Looks like it's about £60 to ship a frame+fork to Sweden, unless you're out in the wilds and qualify for the remoteness surcharge

Sadly come to the decision to sell my Pompino frame if anyone is interested.

What size?

I've decided my Pompino isn't LFGSS enough/doesn't have enough cool points so I want to ditch my rear pannier rack for a front cargo rack.
Recommendations?
I'm just using it to commute or go shopping so doesn't have to be overkill, just enough to strap a bag to it.

Do you have mid blade eyelets? If so get the surly.
If not get the Palego or Minoura Gamoh

I've just upgraded my old V2 Pompino to a V4 frame
I'm wondering if I should fit V brakes on the back end, I have standard road brakes levers, should I run mini V brakes or standard ones, ie : Shimano XT ones (for the moment I'v fitted my old Avid canti brakes, using a Surly back canti adapter
Thanks

mini v or if you need the clearance then regular v with a travel agent.
These are perfectly good, benefit from some new brake pads though

TRP CX9 are the balleur option, though I assume you might not want brakes worth the same as your frame.

62 miles on my fixed pomp yesterday, so much fun. Good average too!
Pictures and bits of French over here:

Anyone using a frame pump on a large Pompino? I'm looking at a Zefal, either HPX or Rev 88, but they seem to run 460-500mm or 510-550mm. The top tube sits in-between the two sizes, just shy of 510mm. I'm not sure which to buy; the one that might fall out or the one that might not fit.

I'm using a 51-55mm HPX on my Large Kaffenback (== pompino geo), it's a really tight fit - The smaller one should be ok (Size 3 IIRC).

Gone full Scoble/Audax. Still got latex tubes in, pumping them up every other day is a faff but they do ride so nicely.

Awesome. Going to order a 3 then.
Need to make 1st on the 3 speed a bit more spinny too, so a new rear sprocket is on its way.

After always riding with swept back bars/risers I have decided that my pomp is too big for dropped bars, which is what I want to run for the summer. Anyone got a L or M that is maybe too small and want to trade for a XL?

A question.
Will this
http://www.kinesisbikes.co.uk/Catalogue/Forks/Road/TRACER-15-DISCfit in the pompetamine or not? I think not, because the fork appears to be tapered. And, my pompetamine is in the shed atm so I've not seen it for nearly a year, i think the pompetamine is a simple 1 1/8 non taper. that's right isn't it?
that's actually two questions now.

I'm pretty sure the ht on pomp and pompetimine are straight steerers, and seems kenesis seemed to have made all their forks tapered this season(?). The Kenesis Pure CX fork was just about the only carbon fork with a straight 1 1/8 steerer I could find. I don't know if they made a disc version of it tho

• #5896
If it's tapered it won't fit
-
• #5898
Yep. That looks it'll do. Maybe.

There was a guy at the Gravel Dash on a raw (ti?) On-one CX (with wishbone rear) that had Kinesis Disc forks. I think I overheard him saying he found them as NOS.
