This sums it up really. No one was robbed certainly in that race, everyone in the final selection certainly went for it at some point in the race and were deserved to be in that group.

Eddy looked fucked by the end, he nearly got dropped a couple of times in the last 20ish km.

Hayman also looked pretty fucked at around 30k to do but seemed to recover enough by the end.

He looked fairly unfazed by it all.

He's a great classics rider but I guess they'd written him off with that bone break so close to the P-R.

My 5th is obviously a far greater achievement than some other Aussie winning some dirty race on the Continent...

I think he was the most experienced rider there in terms of P-R starts/finishes. 15 P-Rs he'd finished or something like that.
