  • Photog nearly had Cancellara off

  • To be fair I think that was Fabs fault. I don't think he knew where we was going.

  • Well that was unexpected.... Couple of hours ago I was dicking on the aussie commentary for taking about some random bloke Hayman so much. Fucker only went and bloody won!

Fair play to the other 4 in the final km. Hard-core!

  • Matty Hayman, what a job. About time he got to ride for himself.

  • Although I highly doubt OGE planned it for him.

  • Fell asleep, missed the sprint. That's what happens with cold ride then warm beers. bastard.

  • You didn't miss much

  • Disappointed it wasn't Boonen, but fair play to Hayman, he was in the escape from the off and kept his head down. Bo-Hag went awol, Vanmarcke fucked it for himself and Boonen with those attempted breaks.

Not my favourite but I did feel for Cancellara as he made his goodbyes-a beast of a rider when not throwing his toys out the pram. The duality of man I suppose.

  • Hayman started the attack that split the field with 120 kms to go.
That is a pretty long way to go for the win.

  • It wasn't on the live Eurosport feed cos they were showing highlights, but just before he nearly crashed into the photo man Fabian grabbed a Swiss flag from a fan but then proceeded to stack it and slide on his arse down the banking...poor fab!

  • Elia Viviani is in hospital after being hit by a moto in the Arenberg says Sky DS Servais Knaven. #ParisRoubaix

  • Another moto related injury?

  • Murdoch.. sort it out

  • Gifs appearing.

That puddle... What's the "icing on the cake" but for bad things?

  • ahahahahahaha

  • When it rains it pours.

Edit, or as the Twitter link says, quand ça ne veut pas, ça ne veut pas

When it's just not there, you can't force it... Try as you might, Or something like that...

  • Hows that flexy Trek frame working out for you Fabz?

  • Best PR ive ever seen.

I think this every year! Really happy to see Hayman win that. He looked so bewildered at the end. Just brilliant

  • boonen to win, announce retirement and purchase 25% of a small country's GDP in Columbia's finest

    Colombia ffs

    Well done Hayman, solid riding.

  • Orica's PR backstatge pass should be a good one.. Waiting.

  • Oh crap I just thought: Hippy's going to be unbearable.

    What was very impressive from
Hayman is that he was in the original breakaway, which I didn't realise straight away. Stannard was like the little engine that could: so many times he looked like he was done, struggling during the big Vanmarcke attack, and when Boonen and then Hayman took a flyer, and yet he managed to get back again and again, back on the wheels in the velodrome to nab third. Definitely capable of winning this race. He looked gutted on the podium too.

  • Video of the crash with Viviani is on twitter. It doesn't look too bad (he jumps up and pulls himself away from from the bike). But it looks like the driver was clearly too close to not be able to stop.

  • @hippy where are you? I last saw a tweet about drinking sparkling rose, and that was at about 120km so fuck knows what's happened in the interim.

  • Apparantly Canc crashed again in the velodrome while wrapped in the Swiss flag on a salutary lap #facepalm
