Missis Rich G managed to get me braun watch bn0035 for $40 from her work sale !!!! :)
the chrono is not working properly hence the price, does anyone know roughly the cost of servicing such a watch? -
• #18758
That's quite nice - in an architect/designer type way.

All these black metal watches doe.
Whether PVD etc. If you move the metal (dent it) it is gonna be light underneath.
Titanium / Steel / Bronze will always be so no matter how scratched up.

Duh! Black metal is black all the way through, bruv...
-
• #18761
Edit. It ain't metal.
-
• #18762
Yeah, man... They throw the black diamonds in the furnace with the metal, innit?
-
• #18763
I've got a gape on for one of these.

The Black Moon is ceramic...
Starts as white blank.
Then goes black after 20,000 degrees heat!?
-
• #18765
I wonder how tough ceramic is...apparently they use the diamonds to cut it.

I can think of none, I'd love one and it's on my list.
Think I'd have a black one.
-
• #18770
I like the black, but I also want the bracelet (which they don't offer in black).
-
• #18771
In that case, this is the only reason I can think of not to buy the Damasko:
-
• #18772
Ah. Yes. The Sinn argument. Purely aesthetics, and I would have 5 scratches on that in 5 minutes.
-
• #18773
No it's a beaut. Buy it
-
• #18774
If you had two grand to spend on a sinn which one would you get?

Rumors on TZ-UK that Damasko have messed up with their lume and it's no good !
Strange given that they work hard to perfect the watch in every other way.
Never even seen one, so just passing on Chinese whispers.........
Anything up to AU$1k is exempt... 🙃
