This is probably the most overpriced store in Western civilisation.
It took me 3 years, but I found one on eBay in San Francisco. I chose the FedEx option, got it checked out by a man and kept it because everything stacked up.
Patience is a wonderful thing.

I put my year of birth (1987) in the Vintage Watch Company and was shown ten of the ugliest watches I've laid eyes on.

There's a shop in Burlington Arcade that has Rolex in the window labelled by date.
The Vintage Watch Company and you can pick your date online. It's not a recommendation.
Just tried 1976 on their website and they claim it's one of the most difficult years for vintage Rolex, they've only ever had a couple of them.
