Whales are much bigger, and aren't alligators either.

The biggest creatures by far are the giant space blobs that swallow whole galaxy clusters.

The statement as I understood it was related to him and his wife alone. I presume his mother currently holds the keys.

I stopped a Tory in the street, and asked what they thought about Cameron's father dodging taxes through an artificial arrangement via Panama.
They said "Cameron family will not benefit from offshore trusts in the future."
A mealy-mouthed reply.

Problem is that the government simply don't give a shit - indeed the destruction they are causing to the NHS is part of their plan. I don't see how this can end well (if you aren't a Tory donor who owns a business in the healthcare sector, anyway).

Your mum's much bigger

She's still not as big as a proper space blob.

osbourne refuses to answer questions on his families offshore assets and whether he benefits from it
-
• #39812
Well, it's not the first time he's been guilty of question avoidance, and I don't like Osborne, but in this case for once I found the explanation convincing that the interview had already been longer than agreed beforehand. This was a brief note in the Guardian live blog, which used the expression 'Osborne terminated the interview', but was very quickly corrected by the live blogger to give the other explanation. It obviously gave the wrong impression and I have no idea whether Osborne has any offshore assets or not, but in this case I think the story is a bit baseless. I imagine it'll have legs as it's probably what many people think they should believe. I don't blame them, either.

Why?

I just said why. :)

Really isn´t exceptionally large or heavy for a gator.
Top end of the spectrum for that part of the world.

Are you referring to him ending the interview or the potential of him having funny tax arrangements?
If the latter, you didn't.

Interestingly enough, American crocodiles are larger, but less widespread in the US:

Some population in southern Florida, but they're not nearly as abundant as alligators.

The former.

nods

Frankly, I'd be very disappointed if Osborne didn't have funny tax arrangements, 'cause he's supposed to be so clever, right?

Having enough money to employ good accountants does not make one clever.

Cameron campaigned for exemption to trusts from EU law that would have helped close tax loopholes.

David Cameron personally intervened in 2013 to weaken an EU drive to reveal the beneficiaries of trusts, creating a possible loophole that other European nations warned could be exploited by tax evaders.
[...]
he wrote in November 2013 to Herman Van Rompuy, president of the European Council at the time, to argue that trusts widely used for inheritance planning in Britain should win special treatment in an EU law to tackle money laundering.
In the letter, seen by the Financial Times, Mr Cameron said: “It is clearly important we recognise the important differences between companies and trusts. This means that the solution for addressing the potential misuse of companies, such as central public registries, may well not be appropriate generally.”
Britain has emerged as the strongest European rival to Switzerland for private banking and wealth management, administering £1.2tn of assets, according to Deloitte. The sector contributed £3.2bn to the economy, according to 2014 estimates from the British Bankers’ Association.
[...]
According to officials, the UK stance in 2013 prompted clashes with France and Austria as well as with members of the European Parliament, who accused Britain of double standards in the fight against tax avoidance.
Maria Fekter, the Austrian finance minister at the time, had attacked Britain earlier that year as “the island of the blessed for tax evasion and money laundering”. She cited trusts as a specific problem
