I ride OKR, but only Commercial Way > Great Dover Street. I'll keep my eyes peeled. However you might not see me because I'm probably the fastest person who has ever ridden on the OKR.

@amey: Yes, blue Pearson with dynohub, carradice, shiny head - the archetypal middle aged fraudax look. Say hi if you see me. I saw Brave the other day on his none more black Brompton - very much on the OKR. Are you on a very new looking black bike with purple hubs?
And hi @Soul - sorry I lost you on the road, but good to see you out on a proper bike again.

Yep! Ironic 2008 fixie build, generally Rapha FKW. You seem to avoid Telegraph hill ;)

It's weird and it's not just london. Back in the day (and I'm only talking 10-15 years or so back) you'd get a friendly nod and a smile from the vast majority of other cyclists. So many cyclists don't even acknowledge you now. Gave a nod and wave to a chap on the way home yesterday as it was utterly pissing it down. Blank face, must get strava PB.

Yes I head up Shardeloes Road as I am heavy and unfit. The ironic build looks pretty sharp - chartreuse stripes with purple anodising is almost an early 90s MTB look.

Just more cyclists now. It's a good thing.

I've started to say hi in green boxes.
Not expecting much but hey, be nice and all that.

I seem to manage to strike up conversation more often than not. People seem more willing to communicate if it's to deride someone else's behaviour. Which is a shame.

Horrible sore throat and a banging headache. Will probably be like this until Friday afternoon when it will go full nuclear in time for the weekend.
Great.

I had a good chat with a chap on a Dawes Galaxy this morning. We were complimenting each other's bikes. More of this please.

My bike was covered in cow shit and mud.
Now it is not.
I fitted new cranks to my other bike.
I rode this one in today.
The cranks didn't fall off.
Joy to the world, for he is cometh.

Was enjoying the ride home until I got to a small RTC on Brixton Rd/Vassal Rd. Saw in the distance a moped on the floor at the lights, a load of cyclists around it not doing much. When I got up to it, I saw the rider standing on the pavement arguing, not very aggressively, with a cyclist. They were both ok so helped two other people move the moped off the road. When I was setting my bike to the side I managed to knock one of the other moped lifter's bike. WAC. I told him I had done so as we were moving the moped and told him to check if I had damaged it, seemed fine.
The two guys involved in the incident seemed fine and were just pointing the finger at each other. I didn't see any of the collision and there were a load of people there who did so I asked them both again if they were ok and left.

Never met @Ludd what does he ride? I see someone 'on here' looking on a pearson fixed from Brockley all the way to E&C.
