Longer spindel Speedplays are not custom. They come that way. Cost a few dollar$ extra over the stock lengths. Speedplay also sell spindel kits but they are a bit expensive. Talk to your LBS.

They are custom cos that's how they call em http://www.ubyk.co.uk/m/product.php?CI_ID=21480. And they cost twice as much, if not more, than standard. Axles on their own come at about £100. Why no aftermarket chromo or SS? Aftermarket Titanium cost about 50 quids. Even if they charged the same for SS that would still be a bargain.

Before I go and spend top money on custom speedplays, are there any cheaper alternatives? I can't go for cheap titanium aftermarket spindels due to massive amounts of fat accumulated all over me body. These have rider weight limit of 200lbs/90kg. With bag I exceed that limit by about 15kg. Arebthere any other options for long spindle pedals about?
