That's sick, I'm so glad you posted that wheel/tyre combo as I think that's what I'll be going for on my replacement Emonda! Looking beautiful!

Does look like a simple carbon lay up jobs on area that doesn't need to be perfect, however I cannot be 100% sure.
I think this is best to ask advice from the carbon repair guys about this.

All you need is a normal -6 stem and slam it to get that Classic look.
-17 stem look weird on sloped frames.

I had a -6 on there over winter, looked fine but I prefer the -17. The agro angle balances out the relaxed geo nicely IMO.
I might yet slam it, want to get a good few long rides under my belt as it is to make sure it feel right. Flanders this time next week...

Nice! I like this. Synapse is so angular that I wouldn't bother changing the stem for aesthetic reasons.

Good to hear, I miss the noise of Vittoria X Carbon X Tarmac.

These new ones sound like they're tacky/sticky on certain surfaces. But the general hum is very easy on the ear

I had the same issue, spoke to Evans and it was a mistake on the website (Q&A) however they agreed to supply some FOC. I still had to buy a kit because I was using a used chainset I need the circlips, spacers, cover washers and wavy washer...so now have a spare set!

Did you just email CS about it?

Whipped this together today-tyre off because I've not finished trueing the rear wheel that i done built.
Felt wonderfully light up till probably the point I put the chain and cassette on, aint never been a weenie tho. Going to get some jazzier paint and carbon post and stem soon as much for comfort as weight, crabon SMP fake and ergo bars will take the sting out of some of it for now.
Can't wait to get oot and sboot but alas I now need to work till weds : /

Tredz are doing 15% off all 2016 dales, they also do really good finance.
If you want a Slate, that's £420 off the Ultegra model..

Excuse the Instagram photo.. RAAD9 dialled in, have ordered a -10 stem to try but will probably end up sticking with the -17. Even though the -10 would look better. I moved my hoods up a bit and it's made a huge difference. Could even go a 110 stem now! #longarms #shortlegs

The 2015 SuperSix evo geometry chart lists stack/reach measurements as
58cm:57.7/39.9
60cm: 59.6/40.2
63cm as 62.0/39.9Is it correct that 63 cm has the same reach as 58cm?

It's possible. What they are saying there is 'we aint making this bike any longer, sorry'.
-
• #4748
Hah :-) but would they really design the 63cm with a shorter reach than the 60cm?
-
• #4749
It is why TT length is a poor measure of fit.
