I'f I was responsible for building that pile, I'd be rather reluctant to inflict it upon anyone else too.

Strong page, could do better. 7/10

expensive components, self conscious pile of wank.

I never understood that line of salesmanship:
'It breaks my heart to sell it...' etc...Either sell it or don't. The sob story adds nothing to how much someone will pay for it.

That would be every messyrage/ phreshslayte sale thread!

Jelly much?
Not saying all is to my liking. But it's a damn fine bike.

Haha, I have a touring bike, a more useful one than this. Colour matched stem and chain are straight to anti by many people's standards. The mudguards look stupid and probably rub like hell in any rough / sticky conditions. But that probably doesn't matter as it will only be ridden to the organic cafe and back, carrying a mackbook air and maybe a spare pair of matching pink socks

I agree the fenders are too tight for utility, but I think the chain is just catching the sun...

just catching the sun>
fair point. The bike probably looks alot better in total darkness.

Lmao. He does brevets and has already done 2500k this spring. I'm sure it'll be used.
Looks to be at least 10mm clearance around the tyres which is plenty enough for slicks. There's difference between a touring and a rando bike. And taste is personal. Post yours!

the lack of pedals certainly makes it look more legit.

Have seen customer testimonials.
Mainly midlife crisis fodder I think.
If you're 40 and panicking in 2016 you don't buy a Ferrari, you buy a fixie.

Looks like a well considered build, not exactly to my taste but if it was all black would you still be criticising it?
Why shouldn't a person have a colourful bike if they're getting their dream custom bike?
They might have saved for months for it.
Do you feel the same about all the bright talbots with top levels spec?
Also fenders look absolutely fine.
