I went yesterday for BvS at an Imax, first time in an imax so that was cool, but pretty much all of what cmburns said, but as a sunday easy watch it was ok.

haha that batman superman nonsense is getting properly panned. to be fair i imagine there's only so much you can do with two of comic book's most boring characters.

I can kind of see what Snyder's trying to do, just having trouble buying into it all.

Also following that Lego Batman movie trailer I'm gonna enjoy that a hell of a lot more than anything else they put out...

Deadpool is fabulous, loved it...

I just saw Deadpool over the weekend as well. Would definitely watch it again to pick up more of the quips and in-jokes.

deadpool as a character is intensely annoying, at least on paper. That's entirely because rob liefeld is a terrible artist/writer who set up a terrible standard for comic book artists during the 90s.

the film is great tho, that's largely down to the production values and yer man playing deadpool being pretty good at the actings. loses points for rob pissing liefeld cameo.

lets see what they do with cable in the inevitable sequel.

Imdb reveals the producer was Deborah Snyder.... so his wife is funding these vanity projects? Or at least feeding his ego.

The Big Short

Watch it! It's very good, equal parts funny, depressing, and informative.

Cast was good, Christian Bale especially.

Eddie the Eagle wasn't terrible but felt like it should have been a two part TV drama.

Question - is it possible to make a feel good British film without either Jim Broadbent or Bill Nighy?

Finally watched It Follows last night. Not as scary as I thought it would be (nothing is after [REC] really). But great simple and well paced. Loved the idea to, plus the styling was really well thought through.
