Toying with the idea of building some wheels for my new Pompino and was hoping someone with more knowledge of wheel building than me (probably everyone in this thread) could tell me whether the following parts would make for an acceptable, ultra-budget wheel set:
Hubs – Formula MATT Black Track Pista Fixed/Free Hub Set - 32 Hole – £30
Rims – Mavic A119 – £32
Spokes – ACI Alpina black DB – £28
An online spoke calculator told me I'd need 293.6mm and 293.4mm spokes so I'm guessing 294mm would be suitable?
