Did you consider removing sliding dropouts? I realise its more work and you can always go back to SSCX if you leave them. But they're largely excess weight now aren't they? Or does it give you a noticeable longer wheel base for longer more relaxed riding?
The rear triangle geometry will have to change if I swap dropouts. So it is not an option.
I will probably ride this frame for one more cx season and the build something with ø44mm head tube and thru axle. Then either sell it or make it a beater... We will see ;-)
