Nah, as a honorary member of The Too Cool Clan he rather prefer say nothing.
-
• #126503
Dalglish
-
• #126504
You're trolling right?
-
• #126505
It's because he's Scottish and played for Liverpool that he's not even comparable right?
-
• #126506
Daily mail reckons tactics Tim is one of the front runners to take over at Derby.
-
• #126507
That and the lack of managerial honours. His brand of football as a manager was revolutionary only in the sense that it was turgid rubbish.
-
• #126508
Great trolling. BOGOF, 'arry loves a bargain.
-
• #126509
I always had the impression that Keegan was more influential than Dalglish. Perhaps not a view shared by everyone.
-
• #126510
I am going on record here. I'd tactics Tim joins, I'm off.
I'm sure Derby will miss my revenue.

Dalglish did well with Liverpool. Less so with Newcastle and Blackburn. It's really difficult for great players, and he was, to instruct. Apparently.
-
• #126512
Dalglish was a great player, but he wasn't a peer of Cruyff's.
He was an okay manager, although all his success was in the domestic game, but, again, he wasn't a peer of Cruyff's.

Roy.

• #126514
I agree, the difference between the "greats" and the "very goods" doesn't seem that large. It's probably the same as from me to "very good" though.
-
• #126515
Exactly. Roy.
-
• #126516
enjoyed Dalglish as a player but comparing him to cruyff? laughable
-
• #126517
Stunning comparison...
>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
-
• #126518
Comparing Dogleash to Cruyff is an insult to Cruyff's legacy.
-
• #126519
Here a dog leash by Hermes, just in case someone is interested in a new comparison.
Actually, it's an excellent matching item.
-
• #126520
Some of this tonight plz
-
• #126521
Unlikely though.
Here's how it'll go down:
Ingerlund will go into this game believing that they can win the euros in the summer. They'll lose to Germany's B team tonight and there will be questions as to whether or not Roy is the right man to take Ingerland to victory. Harry Kane won't get a look in and the midfield will be their usual embarrassment.

• #126522
gerrard and lampard midfield STILL not working
-
• #126523
Those really were the glory years and the often mooted problem of no proper left winger. Remember when Alan Thompson was called up? Ah.
-
• #126524
Pretty similar in terms of honours. Both won 3 European cups as a player, and a stack of league titles. Cruyff won the European Cup as a manager, but Dalglish would have done as well if his teams had played in Europe.
Granted, Cruyff's tactics have had a more enduring legacy, but he owed a major debt himself to Rinus Michels.

Never let facts get in the way of a good love in. Like I said its hardly fashionable being a Scot playing for Liverpool. It's not like Holland and Barca now is it?
Say what now? Dave Whelan broke his leg? In an FA cup final? Fo realz?
