• I guess you have to think, you've waited 8 months, so a bit longer won't hurt much. Also, it's good, in the long run, that these things are being checked now, rather than it being brazed up and then afterwards find there is a problem. (OTOH with 8 months you'd think that could have been checked and double checked a long time ago)

But I totally understand your frustration. I suspect the fact that Bespoked is coming up soon is causing more time pressure which won't be helping things. But hopefully come June when you're riding this happily you'll have forgotten all about the wait

  • I agree with your sentiments on this @branwen

I can understand some of @7ven 's frustration, but my Rourke has taken nearly a year, due to me, parts issues, 3rd parties, factory moves etc etc and I had some forks made at Talbot that took about 4 months to get sorted. But from the out set with both of those projects I didn't really expect anything else to be honest.

At the end though, I will have two amazing bikes that are totally unique, designed to my requirements (which where a bit of a challenge for starters) and my enjoyment of them will well out last any of the sullen mornings where I wished I had them there and then.

I also really value the time I have spent through both processes with people I would have never otherwise met. It's led into some great relationships both at Talbot and Rourke, and that means prob as much to me as the bikes.

Hopefully you'll love and cherish this bike and the experience of being a part of its creation, even if your feeling fed up with it now.
