You'd have a decent sized Tesco on your doorstep and a big Sainsburys round the corner. Easy train journey to Victoria if you need. Close to IKEA for new house/cheap furniture bits and bobs. 15 min walk/5 ride to my shed that is becoming better stocked with bike tools by the week. Also, there's an ALDI over in Norwood Junction that I've got a lot of use out of.
