I was gonna suggest IWC* Sorry MWC :o) too.
Mine is still going strong and I use it for DIY / Gardening etc.
I think it is a kinetic movement so should be fairly robust? (Less complicated)
or a Seiko?

i had a couple of MWCS and wasn't taken by the quality - marathon is a better alternative in that price bracket imho

Anyone aware of anywhere in London with a Black Bay Black on a bracelet in stock? I've found one on a strap but would like to check out the bracelet before deciding. Stock everywhere seems pretty minimal.

It's a finson Dutch harbour, I'm half wondering about something with a blue face. But I don't know if I can justify a second time piece.

You're in the wrong place if your trying to justify a second watch.

Jack, don't press the buy button yet. It's "Chainbreaker-big" at 43mm, and has a black face with a blue bezel. It's also, at 775 usd, a quartz watch at automatic money.

^^ There are so many Uniform Wares / minimal generic style watches flooding the market now.
Go for something with more character imo.
I'd get a CWC instead though! There's actually a new (properly) waterproof version by CWC, though they are a bit pricey.
