I read somewhere that the Caad9 is 'better' as it's the last of the USA produced models
Probably in a for sale advert for a USA produced frame I'd imagine.
They are all very good. The pre-10s don't really account for modern rim and tyre choices, and some are BB30 and some are not. Some have full carbon forks (premium) and some not (ultra).
Can't really go wrong with a CAAD10. Be aware you cant transfer warranties and what warranty they do have isn't exactly bomb proof.
Only other gotcha I can think of is that there were many versions of the CAAD8, the earlier ones being very racy and the later ones being noob bikes and having very little in common with their earlier brethren.
Just had to sell off my Ti as 1 skint and 2 I have a tourer and a cx bike so a 'Audax' style do it all bike was always going to be a bit redundant, and now looking at trying to pick up a Caad 9/10/12 in my size.
Which of the three is best regarded and what's any pitfalls to look out for? I read somewhere that the Caad9 is 'better' as it's the last of the USA produced models.
