  • Haha. I had this exact thought process today.

  • I don't understand the thought process

[I wish I could afford a watch... WHY DID I BUY THIS PLACE]

  • Interestingly the Tudor website is showing all the current ( red blue and black ) black bays in the new configuration ie new logo new in house movement etc , so that means the black bay black in original guise was effectively only available for about 4 months . Do we think this is likely to be collectable ?

  • @ Stonehedge, I had the same thought process!
Liked the thumbnail of the air king, clicked it, big pic loaded, nope.

  • @ejay

I've had the same thought.... I may pick one up for that very reason.

  • Plus it's still a fine looking watch in its own right.

  • Yes I have the OG Pelagos with original dial configuration and ETA mvt, collectors are going mental over it and that had a massive run in comparison to the Red BB.

I'm not a collector though, I just want the new mvt, I was working on a 56 a few weeks ago and they are lovely.

  • I've got one on its way cos always liked it and actually prefer it with the " old " Rose logo and the simple writing on the dial .

  • I happened to be looking for a Black Bay Black a few days ago (curious how much they cost over here after reading a review) and nowhere, from my quick google, seemed to have them in stock.

  • 2.2 to 2.4K, Chronext and Iconic have them.

  • We have about 4 I think , and red and blue as well split between our two tudor stores .....

  • ^that's gross

  • £160 seems reasonable if their work is of a high standard. Saves you £20 of postage. Did the guy in Hatton Garden think the rotor was ok, or did he mention re-bushing it?

You could message the seller and request a partial refund to help pay for the service.

  • Good to see they've extended the hands on the new explorer to meet the minute / hour markers.

It's one of the main reasons i bought a ref. 114270 instead of the 214270.

Shame about the blue lume. Eurgh.

  • Those people at Bamford need to be skinned alive and buggered for crimes against horology.

  • Where is that if you don't mind me asking? I like the black one but would like to try one in the flesh.

  • Did the guy in Hatton Garden think the rotor was ok, or did he mention re-bushing it?

Unfortunately it was just relayed though his daughter and we spent the day playing phone tag. All the info I got was - "it doesn't need replacement parts, it needs to be serviced, you'll get a 1yr guarantee".

The seller has been really positive and communicative. So we'll see.

  • Shame about the blue lume. Eurgh.

    yeah not a fan either

  • I really like the blue lume but I can't afford one so it doesn't matter.

  • Black Bay Black shouldn't have had any gold on it... Daft...

  • please tell me to stop lurking

  • not a fan of the dials matching up perfectly though
