They actualy also claim the rear aids teh aeros.
Reviews said the nose was too narrow. So yeah they were on offer everywhere.
-
• #4056
The rear makes it UCI compliant, and has a bottle mount under it.

Pretty sure the Spin branded forks on my road bike are the UD ones from your second one, they're fine if flexier than legit 3Ts

Heck of a time finding an online retailer (store, not off dhgate/ebay/etc) that sells carbon track disc for clicher tyres.
Tons on ebay/alibaba/dhgate but I want an actual online store with good reputation.
None of the shops like Workwellbikes/Farsports/Yoeleo/Hongfu carry any discs.Something similar to this but from a retail website...

What's wrong with eBay? Loads more buyer protection that way.

Quality is all over the place.....and I hate ebay in general for other reasons.
Just want a shop that has a good reputation and history on forums, can actually be contacted directly (not through an auction site), etc..
Most of the shops I listed above have good history and reputation/lots of happy customers on forums/have been around for at least a year/have quality control/etc..
I figured this would be a lot simpler since Chinese carbon is becoming so popular.

Have you tried Zipp? Or Hed?
-
• #4063
Never heard of them.
-
• #4064
What does Zipp or Hed have to do with a Chinese parts thread?
I'm simply asking for a website similar to these that sell track discs.
Just a few examples....
http://www.workswellbikes.com/web/productlist/17.html
http://www.farsports.com/
http://www.yoeleo.com/wheels.html
http://www.hongfu-bikes.com/e_products/?big_id=30Not sure what Hed or Zipp have anything to do with this.

They tend to sell discs by reputable brands, such as Hed or Zipp. Why do you want a disc anyway? If you want
a shop that has a good reputation and history on forums, can actually be contacted directly (not through an auction site)
you're going to struggle one that sells a cheap track disc.

It took me forever to find these:
http://www.aliexpress.com/item/Carbon-Fork-Track-Fixed-Gear-1-1-8-28-6mm-UD-Glossy-Finish-Cantilever-Brake-350g/1948842326.htmlThen by the time postage was paid (£35) and the import taxes paid (£30), I was close to £100 deep...
Made me wish I purchased these:

Otherwise look at used ones on eBay like these:

Thanks Vince, I'd spotted (and am now watching) the unbranded ebay forks. Might end up going for them, especially (as you note) the cost of postage of the aliexpress ones means there's not that much difference...
Cheers!

Is there an SMP copy that has at least some padding? Feeling like I've been kicked in the balls on my commute home today but I really can't afford a new "proper" saddle and don't ride to work in bib shorts or anything. Don't fancy 100 miles a week on bare carbon X denim

A couple of questions about Chinese carbon wheels. Considering buying 50/60mm carbon wheels (wide U shape) :-
Clinchers or tubs ? I remember there was some problems with the first wave of carbon clinchers with heat build up on the braking surface, has this been resolved now ?
Secondly, what kind of turn around are you getting from the chinese companies ? Considering Asian Cycle Express.
When I last looked they could be had at hefty discounts all over the place and I can't recall seeing anyone I rate using one.
I seem to remember the shizzle on the rear end being all about UCI compliance.
