  • New ice tech rotors rubbing on hyrd, front and back... Not amused.

Compass switch back hill $200 for a pair posted... Not amused, refuse to pay.

Thinking about the new shwalbe big ones, but at 60mm my mudguards are going to be wasted. Maybe just run 35mm kojak till I win the lottery.

  • What about continental speed kings? And for what it's worth, I've been quite happy with tubeless race king + racing ralph combo even on asphalt.

  • I can sell you my grand Bois with a couple of hundred miles on them for £65? However be prepared for punctures if you go near any glass! I've swapped to g ones at 38mm and seem just as nice and give more protection esp with being tubeless. Let me know

  • Someone else pointed this out to me on the4 google 650b group... I am ashamed of my lack of google sklilz, but thank you for bringing to my attention again! Luckily my M-in-L is about to fly out to Singapore to help look after the kids for a couple of weeks when the missus goes back to work so I will be posting these to her.

    Thanks again.

  • you nearly had me there... then 'prepared for punctures' ruined everything! Thanks vm for the offer though!

  • will look at as well - thanks!

  • Not finished but will do for now in order to get her on the road. Noticeable fork flex under heavy braking which is interesting...

Quick steering week take a bit of getting used to but not nearly as different as some 650b commentators might have one belive.

  • That's too cool. I love the contrasting rack!

  • Which grand Bois dk you have? I might like to buy those.

  • Fork flex is a compromise, if it made stiffer, there's less flex but noticeably harsher ride.

  • @pryally what do you mean you swapped to "g ones" is that a different model? Ta

  • Fork flex is certainly makes for a plush ride when combined with fast tyres. Had a decent rag around this afternoon in the rain. Thunder burts slippery on wet logs but very nice over all. Great fun ride, need a few more days before I can give a proper run down and I need to dial in the fit a bit as well. But very happy so far.

  • If it's slippery, drop pressure.

  • This is a very rad bicycle. Needs fluro red tape.

And not to have spirally light cabling.

Love the green / red colour scheme.

  • Tape goes with the bag... Will add more pics with bag in due course. The routing for the light cables goes through the fire leg and up to the fork crown. That would be great if that's where the light was gonna be put but if you have a rack then it's rubbish. Means have no choice but for external routing. If anyone has a bright idea on how to make it look better I'm all ears.

  • Me !

You need to hide the wire in the inside of the fork (with a bit of 3M black or red scotch)

  • Or use clear frame protector tape.

  • You've left a piece of masking tape on the fork crown.
    Otherwise excellent. ;D

  • 42mm normal tan wall, not extra lights

  • New tubeless schwalbes
