Hi guys, I've been working on a website for my photography and a kind of blog, I would love your comments if you can be arsed taking a look.

I'm also wanting to add the ability for people to buy prints should they want to. Anyone with knowledge of adding a shop into a squarespace site?

It might end up there yet, buuuut I've just got back from shooting all day and I'm hoping I have something better.

Not with Squarespace, but I know smugmug is very good for that. But that's not much help to you I guess.

Site is clean and well laid out. I'm not sure about the options on the landing page, i.e. "See What's New" & "My Gallery", seems a bit, I dunno confusing? If you are looking to sell prints, maybe just have "Prints" & "Blog". And don't bother having a link back to the landing page in the main site, as you already have links to the only things on there in the top right.

Also I'd stay away from naming the photos. Descriptions are fine, but let the photo speak for itself.

But good, hope you get some good sales!

Pleasure. Titles is def a personal preference thing, never been a fan myself, but not a massive issue.

Your aurora photos are banging, I'd get them up on some stock libraries if that interests you.

Getty if you can in, though I don't think they'll let you add to other libraries. I have a few things on http://www.picfair.com which I'd recommend, as anyone can upload, and you set your own price. This goes for anyone else on here btw. It usually get me a bit of beer money each month, better than sitting on a hard drive doing nothing...

First time I've stopped someone in the street to ask for their picture. This lad was hitching from Dundee to Aviemore.
