I'm tempted but it's a shame they didn't make them look a bit different. There's a whole variety of similar looking, value diver style watches out there from Seiko, Steinhart, Timefactors, Orient, etc.
If the intention was smart but functional then something a bit thinner/smarter would have been nice rather than another dive watch that probably won't fit under a shirt cuff.
Having said that, I may still get one.

Hard to tell about the rotor. Couldn't find a similar example. See how it times when you get it and if it ever stops or loses time.

Did anyone get on board this?

For my sins, I'm looking to buy a watch. Where should I look to grab a Seiko snzg13j1? Seem to be sold out a lot of places.

What's that emoticon?
I don't know if I really want a watch. I know I don't need one. It's entirely an affectation and, for many, fashion mixed with some sort of club identity and bourgeois right of passage.
But I really like the fact that their made of tiny gears and cogs. That's neat.

I've been watching YouTube videos of a dude building his own clock, machining every piece.

Mid range? Top out around 4.5k.
^ actual thing people would say on this thread.
I'm looking at £100 watch! And it stresses me out. I'll probably never wear it.

Those 1016 homage dials are sex, Tudor are being pretty smart...
Has anyone done a decent 1016 homage? Would buy...
I've signed up for 2, there are a couple of video reviews and the prototypes in the vids look amazing. For the price and spec they are good value for money.
