But I get greatly annoyed at the yplac parking near schools and the big car, drives 5 mins a day, can't drive for shit crowd.

through the links on yours I ended up on this self appointed RLJ warrior. despite riding like a bellend at 00:46 and nearly getting hit by an accelerating moped as he juuuuuust narrowly misses jumping a light himself, he feels it's necessary to chase down, overtake then stick his arm out in front of moving cyclists to prevent them from rlj'ing at the next set of lights because 'rlj'ing is dangerous' but clotheslining a cyclist isn't.

Christ, that guy's a bellend.

Wow

Felt an overwhelming sense of sadness tonight when I saw a guy on a scooter talking to (no... abusing) a pedestrian (who had the temerity to cross the road) with the kind of vitriol otherwise reserved for war criminals and Conservative politicians.
Stay safe out there, people.

Hi - the cops didn't call it either way. Despite CCTV cameras on that junction none caught it. I'm relying on my witness.

Correct aggi - Seven Sisters - outside the Costa on the crossroads. Soreness gone now - just a dead bike to deal with. Great joy.

A lovely morning for it. No one crazy. Jolly good.

Shoutout to the few people who kept barging to the front then getting left behind/getting in the way at almost all the lights on the way in this morning.

^second this.
Also, when did it become a thing to stop just in front of the ASL line. We're talking only by a wheel or half bike length so not to make any actual difference to pulling away when lights change?

I sometimes do this when their is some kinda of wagon behind, just to be double fucking sure I am not in the "right under their nose" blind spot.

Not sure why people are so bothered by these minor 'infractions'. Don't you have more important things to think about? Or not think about?
Commuting became a lot more relaxing for me once I realised it's a waste of energy worrying about this sort of petty stuff.

I'm not bothered by people stopping after the ASL, RLJ'ing(I do it a far bit when I have urgent dockets to drop off) it's just annoying when slower people barge to front and slow me, and other fast riders down.

bet you dont even wear a helmet

Regular occurrence and highly annoying!
-
• #11822
Certainly don't lose any sleep over it but as you pointed out it's so 'minor', why do it at all?
-
• #11823
Those who stop beyond the ASL and block the pedestrian crossing are pretty annoying (when you're a pedestrian). As are those who stop far enough in front of the line so they can't actually see when the lights change so they're still sat there when everyone else sets off.

Irritates me - RLJ'ing and overstepping the ASL. And sometimes I have a quite word with a smile and ask 'Why?' That always surprises the guilty party because they are expecting a rant. I never question their answer. I just say 'Really? You have decided it's safe to jump a red light? OK. New one on me. Thanks.'

I won't went people are crossing, but if its clear and I know it's safe, I'll fly through...gotta make that paper.
Gallery road > burbage road.
