Saw the most amazing fixed or ss Rourke this morning near Highbury corner. A sort of white and neon Telekom Merckx inspired paint job, full mudguards, Rapha ninja rider.
Anyone here?
Probably the one of the nicest bikes I've seen in a while.

No CP thread so I'll pop them here. My frame has just been sprayed up. Jason put a few photos up on IG earlier.
Posted my bits up today too, minus the wheels which I need rebuilt, after finding cracking in the rims while cleaning them :(
Any way - #Brixtoncycles Rourkie is born, nearly!

A bit of a late reply, but you've spotted Barney from Rapha HQ, I'm not sure if he's on a forum.

So I hear wrap around seat post clusters are a Rourke trademark.
Is this one? Or does anyone recognise it?

My stolen 853 frame from 2 years ago. Last seen in Covent Garden. Built with a mix of Campagnolo chorus and record with scirocco g3 wheels. It looked the business, classic and modern. Sorry about crap picture it's all I got.

In other happier news I've bought a used 953 rourke from a lovely gentleman in.the midlands who had it modelled on a modern pinarello 54cm geometry built With a 10 speed ultegra build and mavics. I hope to change seat and stem soon and later the groupset. But for now I'm enjoying it as is, because it's cleaned me out but money well spent in my book. I will guard this with my life and will not be locking it up while I drink in a pub. So far done a lap of Richmond Park and it felt impeccable. Much happiness.

Any feedback on this sale? I thought it was a pretty good price?

Been watching that and really puzzled that it's not been snapped up
I would have bought it if it was bigger.
Just bad luck I suppose
I'm still waiting on mine, pick up is the last week of Jan, so I'm fairly excited :)
The whole process has been very good though, I wrote about the visit and fit up there ^ somewhere, I loved the whole process. But then again I've always wanted a Rourke.....
The 'new' frame builders that I've come across are great too though, I think both of us have had very good experiences at Talbot recently.
