HDMI doesn't really have standards for distance, as far as I know

HDMI is specified by performance rather than a specific distance IIRC, so if you could get a 5 mile HDMI cable that met the specs it would be compliant. 15 metres seems about the max in real life though.

Then again, I have no HDMI devices so I'm speaking from a position of mostly ignorance and no experience.

That's one is out of stock now and they only have the 30m version but the reviews suggest that works too.
