HDMI doesn't really have standards for distance, as far as I know, but you're looking up to 15 meters for high speed HDMI cables.
You may get noise and attenuation if you are using long unshielded twisted pair cables, I guess.
I've got a 22.8m HDMI cable which seems to work fine, but it has a thingy in the middle.
