• No recollection of poo?

  • His CT scan is clear and he's off home, a bit annoyed he is riding his bike home

  • Hampton Street yeah @stevo_com

@I_am_Hingis I don't remember but paramedics on the scene said i probably slid out on the curled turd pile.

@ioreka came and locked up my bike like a hero.

Thanks all for wishes. They've cleaned up my swollen face and let me go from St Thomas'

  • good to read you are ok

  • Cheers @dancing james :-)

Pity to have missed you at Bright Times memorial.

  • Likewise, lets catch up soon.

    Another Surrey jaunt?

  • Yeah would be good. Could arrange to meet Murtle somewhere. Paul was saying he's back in Ldn more often now too.

  • It's come back to me. Just turning left off walworth road into Hampton St. Slowed down but not enough for the slippery road which must have had frost or v thin ice puddle. Probably leant too. Bike slid out. Noone else involved at all. Sadness ensued!

  • I guessed it was ice, it's not really clear enough around there for someone to hit you badly

  • Glad you're ok. Could have even been a drain or manhole cover?

  • Probably leant too.

    Scoble strikes again.

    Glad you're OK.

  • Heal up soon @OneLessCardigan glad to hear it's nothing too serious!

  • I rode past you too. I would have stopped if I had recognised you.

    Glad you're ok mate!

  • Ah it was almost exactly where i last saw you Dan - hampton st.

  • Glad you're okay, Simon.

Bet you won't be leaning for a while...

  • Yikes, glad you're OK Simon.

  • Found out my flatmate has been in and out of hospital for the last few days. I didn't ask too many details but somewhere in peckham, driver was overtaking on the wrong side of the road to get out of a T junction and went straight into him side on, he said he remembered shouting and then coming around with paramedics around him, very sore but xrays/stuff so far has shown nothing broken. I'll post a rider down properly when he has recovered a bit more and is ok to talk about it.

  • Me, Holt Town MCR.

Caught in sudden hail, put speed on to get work quicker then misjudged crossing tramlines. Heavy hit on hip. Pedalled up hill to work but not sure I'll be riding home.

Eejit should know better than taking chances around tramlines.

Positive looks little to no crash damage to bike or softshell. #everycloudn'allthat

  • Ow, heal up soon dude.

  • Ta Rob, hopefully it settles down over weekend.

  • Get better soon, rhb.

  • misjudged crossing tramlines

    Did you lean?

    Should have hopped.

    HTFU xx

  • Leaning or hit the white paint or something, bit of a blur.

Should've used the slower cycle route that is alongside it and has crossing at 90deg to rails... or hopped yeah.

    Ta both.

  • Had a crash with a silver Prius today at around 18:35 on Theobalds Rd (turning right near Bedford Row). Was very flustered after the accident and although the driver stopped I didn't get any details or registration ect.
Now feeling a little more sore than before and noticed bent wheel and torns bib tights ect.
Would like to get in touch with the driver but unsure how.
Going to fill out 'Road Collisions Form - 207' at police station tomorrow morning but am unsure what else to do. Am worried the CCTV will be deleted if I do not move quickly.
Obviously if anybody was present or saw this get in touch.
