Owning your own home

There's a house round the corner from us called Sea View. In the middle of South Tottenham. I love that.

Where I grew up we didn't have house numbers or road names. Just house names. That was fun working with early automated systems.

All of the houses where my in-laws live in the Wall of Corn are just names. Only two of the twenty roads in the village have names.

Great fun when the seagulls arrive in the holidays and try to find their holiday home.

I lived in a house called Little Gayhurst.

I'd quite like a quaint wooden house sign in rolling copperplate that says "Dungangbanging".

I want one of those signs that usually says "HOME" or "BATH" for my bathroom that says either "JOBBY" or "SHITE".

I want one that says "KARZI".

Exchanged contracts today. Completion date set for 8th March. Given we agreed a price at the end of August, it has been a long time coming.

It's inevitable there will be a house price crash now. :/

Our borough has the 2nd highest rate of growth in the year, 15.2%

We bought it May last year, 4 bed

3 bed went on our street 2 weeks ago for £40k more than what we paid

I believe that's what gentrification of Edmonton has done.
